Di Davidson is a very well known Australian viticulturalist, the founder and Managing Director of Davidson Viticulture. Di has worked in the Australian wine industry since 1975 and her consulting company has wide experience in all wine grape production regions of Australia, as well as in South Africa, New Zealand, India and China. Qualified in Agricultural Science and Business Administration, Di has first-hand experience of project management, vineyard management development and renovation. The company specialises in vineyard business management and strategic viticultural practices appropriate to individual situations. The team at Davidson Viticulture is professional, qualified and highly experienced and the group has gained a reputation for its practical and pragmatic advice.
Di has contributed hundreds of articles and presentations to industry journals, workshops and seminars in her career and is also the author of two books – ‘A Guide to Growing Winegrapes in Australia’ and ‘ The Business of Vineyards’. In addition to managing Davidson Viticulture, Di manages her own vineyards and contributes to several Australian Wine Industry committees and organizations. She is a Fellow of the Australian Academy of Technological Science and a Fellow of the Australian Institute of Agriculture Science and Technology.
Di is a member of the Murray Darling Basin Authority, and the South Australian Premiers Climate Change Council.
Mark is the General Manager of Davidson Viticulture. He is also one of our Senior Viticulturalists, with degrees in Horticulture from the University of Melbourne and in Viticulture from Charles Sturt University.
Mark is an experienced viticulturist and vineyard manager. He is responsible for the Vineyard Management operations in the Langhorne Creek and Adelaide Hills regions of South Australia, encompassing approximately 500 hectares. He also works with clients throughout Australia and India.
Sarah is a qualified viticulturalist with a Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Melbourne, and a Graduate Diploma in Viticulture from the University of Adelaide. Sarah has worked in several wine regions throughout Australia and manages the Technical Services division of Davidson Viticulure.
